REFUND POLICY

A legal disclaimer

At The Visual Archive, we strive to provide high-quality services and ensure client satisfaction. However, due to the nature of our services (custom web design, branding, and digital illustration), we generally do not offer refunds once the project has started.

Refund Policy

1. Service Cancellation and Refunds

  • Cancellation Before Work Begins: If a project is canceled before any work has started, you are entitled to a full refund of any advance payment made (if applicable). Requests for cancellation must be made in writing within 24 hours of the initial payment to be eligible for a refund.

  • Cancellation After Work Begins: If a project is canceled after work has commenced, a refund will not be issued. In such cases, payment for the work already completed will be required, and the client will receive the partial deliverables completed up to that point.

2. Non-Delivery of Services

If, for any reason, The Visual Archive is unable to deliver the agreed-upon services (e.g., due to unforeseen circumstances, such as illness or technical issues), we will provide a full refund of any advance payments made, provided the services are not rendered within 30 days of the agreed-upon delivery date. Clients will be notified immediately if a delay or non-delivery is expected.

3. Quality Disputes and Revision Process

  • Revisions: We offer 5 rounds of revisions based on the scope outlined in the project contract. If you are dissatisfied with the final deliverables, we will work with you to revise the work until it meets the agreed specifications. These revisions are included in the original project fee.

  • Refund Eligibility for Quality Issues: If, after multiple revisions, the final deliverables do not meet the specifications outlined in the contract, you may request a partial refund based on the work completed up to that point. Refund requests must be made within 7 days after the final delivery date.

  • No Refund for Minor Changes: Refunds will not be provided for minor dissatisfaction or aesthetic preferences that do not significantly impact the scope or objectives outlined in the contract.

4. No Refunds for Completed Deliverables

Refunds will not be issued for completed and delivered services. Once the project is completed and the final deliverables are approved by the client, no refunds will be granted. This includes:

  • Fully developed websites.

  • Finalized branding designs.

  • Final digital illustrations or marketing materials.

5. Refund Processing Time

Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 10-14 business days of the refund approval. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction.

6. How to Request a Refund

If you wish to request a refund, please submit your request in writing via email to workwithvisualarchive@gmail.com.

Include:

  • The reason for the refund request.

  • Project name and details.

  • Any relevant documentation (e.g., email communication, contracts, deliverables).

We will review your request and provide a response within 5-7 business days.
